Publicity from many sources (local, state and national) included publications from Austin Monthly, AARP, AAA-Texas, AAA-National, Disney Family Fun Magazine, Trader Monthly, Austin American-Statesman and Austin Chronicle. Prizes were awarded to the winners in the SPAM™ Cook-Off. Click here to see the donors and their prize donations. SPAMARAMA™ benefits a local nonprofit, Disability Assistance of Central Texas, Inc. The SPAMALYMPICS™ featured time-tested events for the 29th annual competition. One’s imagination is the limit when you compete in events such as the SPAMŪ Disc Shoot, the SPAM™ Call (remotely similar to a hog call), the SPAM™ Can Relay and the SPAMBURGERŪ Eating Contest.
